Barbara Cray is a graduate of Wellesley College and Hastings College of the Law. She has recently achieved her 20th anniversary in being rated as an AV-Preeminent attorney by Martindale-Hubbell.

Ms. Cray regularly appears in the state and federal courts of California. Between 1993 and 2006 Ms. Cray served as a Judge Pro Temp/Temporary Judge for the Santa Clara County Superior Court.  In 2006 Ms. Cray trained for and was appointed a mediator for the United States District Court of the Northern District of California, and has since been handling civil mediation matters for the Court. 

As a result of life experiences and what Ms. Cray perceives as an important need for quality and compassionate representation of individuals in family law matters, she has now added family law and related legal issues to her practice, including divorce, elders and health care concerns.

Ms. Cray also has a creative side and is a PBS filmmaker, independent producer, director, writer and songwriter, and as a natural outgrowth of that work she also represents creative artists and is a panelist for the California Lawyers for the Arts.
